What is a Water Based Defoamer?
A water based defoamer uses water as the primary carrier, combined with oil-based active components, emulsifiers, and additives. It is produced through an emulsification process to form an oil-in-water emulsion.
Its key features include easy dispersion, rapid defoaming and strong foam suppression. This water based antifoam also has better environmental friendliness compared to oil-based defoamers.

Production Process of Water Based Defoamers
We use high-shear mixers to combine silicone oil, polyether, and other ingredients with water, turning them into a stable emulsion.
Temperature and time are carefully controlled to ensure uniform particle size, good dispersion, and stable performance.
By adjusting pH and adding stabilizers, the emulsion remains well-dispersed with long-lasting foam suppression.
Refining & ConcentrationImpurities are removed by filtration or centrifugation, and concentration is adjusted by evaporation to meet customer needs.
